Closet Ionic Air Purifier

Awesome for my Dorm Room
WOW!!! I was VERY pleasantly surprised with this product!! I live in a dorm room which, like many other dorms, has a nasty mold smell throughout the building. My clothes always have a musty smell and I hate it! I have an air purifier in my room, but it doesn't do much for my clothes. I also have Damp-Rid humidity traps in the closet, which also dont do much about the smell. After just a day of having this product in my closet it already smells MUCH better! I opened the closet door and immediately smelled fresh, crisp air. My clothes have already lost some of the wet, moldy smell. The unit has a long cord (about 4 feet) which easily reaches out of the closet to the electric socket, and the unit is very quiet! (only a very small static buzz can be heard when close to the unit). Definitely would recommend to a friend! I may buy another one for my room!

Great Refreshner
This is a great refreshner for my cloth sitting in my closet. Very pleased with this product.

Love this ionic air freshener...
This works. You can smell the freshness when it goes into 'burst' mode. I also like that they include a power cord so you don;t have to always use batteries. I had some of these years ago from Sharper Image but they eventually gace out (after many years and many batteries). These are compact, so I can put them where needed -- in case my condo neighbors decide to cook something strong smelling or smoke a cigar. They keep my jackets and coats fresh so I have to dry clean them less often. One is used to keep my walk in closet fresh. You will like these a lot! The only thing that I would change is I wish they had longer cords (I use an extension cord when needed.).

We drink tea by the bucket in our house. We have tried several brands of electric tea pots but this one is the best one yet!! Very fast boil which is demanded n our house.
I would recommend this to anyone who loves hot tea water fast!!!

Disappointed in this product. Defective!
I purchased this twice this past month and had to return them both. There must be a short in it somewhere. It turns on and off. Will not heat the water. I worried that it may cause a fire. Customer service at Amazon was very helpful on my returns and refund.

Horrible
Horrible!! Swtich to turn it on works half the time, will be going in the trash soon. Waste of money.

Sunpentown WC-12 ThermoElectric 12-Bottle Wine Cooler

DON'T BOTHER
This is a piece of junk. It can barely keep wine cool in the winter with the heat off. The fan runs all the time no matter what. Furthermore, when the room temperature is a tad bit above 70 degrees, the light starts flashing along with a constant beeping. The only way to stop this, is to unplug it.

The manufacturer offers no suggestion other than saying it's probably the pc. In my mind "pc" is personal computer, not microprocessor which is probably what is controlling the light flashing and beeping. The manufacturer offers no method of getting a unit which is properly working, even though they shipped the original flashing and beeping unit. They consider it yours because you, well, opened their box. This is the kind of treatment that gives a bad name to internet shopping.

It worked well for a while.
Sure it took a couple days to truly cool stuff, but then it totally died days after the warranty.
Zero. Nothing. Nada.
I'm very sad it was a wedding present with best intentions, and we enjoyed it immensely.
Now this "thing" is in a Florida landfill.

Consider a real refrigerator if you really care about wine temperature.
Refridgerators cost more to operate, but failure is rare, even at the low-end. Add up your costs and you will conclude as I have that this technology is unreliable. Search the internet and you will discover many like me.

I had to return it because it was very deep and very skinny, just the opposite of how the specifications list its dimensions. It would not fit in the space where I'd intended to put it.

Hamilton Beach 8 Cup Food Processor

Reliable.
I've had this food processor for several years now. I use it probably about once/twice a week to slice and puree. It gives consistently good results. I'm on Amazon now looking for a replacement "gate" for this, the part that stops the food from flying down the chute. I can't seem to find it here, and Hamilton Beach charges an arm and a leg for shipping a $7 part! I definitely love this appliance, though.

Excellent food processor
I purchased this food processor to make a dish for the holidays. It worked better than expected, I was able to make my dish and its ready for use anytime I need it. This processor allows me to use a special adapter and make pasteles a Spanish dish.

Worked one time
Lost $50+, and almost a small finger tip on the blade trying to make it work.
Since I tossed the defective food processor in the garbage out of disgust,
I can not be refunded my money, as some retailers have done,
when defective equipment is bought from them.

Does Not Purify, But DOES LEAK!
Attention readers who want a filter that delivers pure, clean, uncontaminated water... Straight from the box: "This filter is not intended to purify water."

With no filter in place, the water dispenser on your refrigerator can't operate because there's a big gap between the incoming water line and the water dispenser on your fridge door. This will solve that problem. It bridges the gap between the water line coming into your fridge and the water dispenser on your fridge door. That's all I can say for it though. As a filter, it's worthless - at least the manufacturer admits that in the label warning quoted above, straight from the box the filter comes in!

Yay, this filter is labeled as a "Green" product. Ecologically friendly plastic, huh? Who's zooming who, folks? I'd rather just hug a tree than drink industrially polluted water, and that's what flouridated water is. There is no process of burning to create carbon for use in this filter. But the trade-off is that...

Filter leaked
The filter leaked all over my fridge They were very good about returning the filter they refunded money instead of offering to send another filter out. So not sure if I will order another to see if the one I got was just defective

Don't waste your money
Leaked from the first day.......buy the more expensive brand. Water on the floor and insider the refrigerator. Don' bother with is product.

Food gets stuck!
The only problem is when finely shredding, food gets into the handle assembly. Since the handle does not come apart there is no way to remove the food particles. Bad design, returned it! What a shame.

LDR 556 6335WT Air Gap With Cover, White

Does the job.
I bought this because the kitchen sink in my ancient (117 year old) house was not getting adequate ventilation and was filling up when the dishwasher ran. Went to my local Home Depot and had the typical idiot experience. Three employees walk up to me and ask if they can help. I say, "Yes, thank you, I need an air gap for my dishwasher and can't find one." The response was blank stares. Then they hailed the plumbing "expert." He said, "Oh, you mean an inline air intake." I said, "No, I mean an air gap for my dishwasher." He leads me to an aisle where he picks up an inline air intake and hands it to me. I say no thanks I want an air gap, just like I said. Then I go home and order the correct part on Amazon. Fast delivery. Easy install. Works great. Don't know why I ever bother going to the big box stores for anything other than the most common items.

It is not stainless steel... just Pastic Nickle plated to LOOK LIKE stainless steel.

It works and is very easy to install. Not much that sticks up above the sink. No need to spend more on a different unit.
