purchased this for a customer ,im an electrician with hough electricllc. item fan did not function properly,customer decided to use another electrician to re install new product..
Impossible to wire
I found this Dimplex EF12 2000 watt wall mounted heater to be impossible to wire using the 12guage romex that I had in the wall. There isn't enough room to make connections inside the small area that they provide to make connections and there is a u shaped piece of sheet metal on the back of the unit that goes around 3 side of the connection box that would cut the insulation on the romex if it rubbed against it.
US buyers beware
This product may be a five star item, but I have no idea because it requires 240 volts to run. It's made in England. Perhaps it is noted in the fine print somewhere, but I saw no mention of this, and didn't find out until I had the box in my hands. So anyone in the US looking to buy a small wall mounted heater needs to look elsewhere.
